Choosing an AR development company is less about finding the flashiest demo and more about finding a team that understands tracking, 3D optimization, real devices, and the business outcome behind the experience.

For retail, the strongest AR projects usually focus on product confidence: AR try-on, furniture placement, product visualization, and WebAR launched from a QR code or product page. For training, AR needs accuracy, safety, and repeatable instructions over novelty.

Ask whether the team can build across marker-based AR, markerless AR, image detection, model tracking, WebAR, and location-based AR. Those are different technical choices, and the right one depends on whether your user is scanning packaging, exploring a room, tracking a product, or moving through a venue.

A good AR partner should also talk about loading speed, lighting conditions, analytics, device support, 3D asset weight, and fallback experiences. If those topics are missing, the project may look good in a presentation but fail in the real world.
